I want to share something deeply personal with you, a story of my own struggles and triumphs, in the hope that it resonates with you and offers a glimmer of hope and support. A re-introduction of sorts...
For as long as I can remember, advocating for women's rights and empowerment has been a cornerstone of my life. Yet, a few years back, I found myself overwhelmed, juggling the demands of motherhood and a career, constantly prioritising others over myself. I was lost, unhappy, and my physical and mental health suffered greatly. There were moments so dark that I contemplated extreme measures just for a break. This was my rock bottom, and it was clear I needed professional help and a significant change.
But change, as we know, is daunting, especially when trying to alter deep-rooted habits. So, I started with small steps, focusing on time-efficient, daily healthy habits to boost my health and energy. Simple self-care routines became my sanctuary, allowing me to feel good about myself again. I learned to prioritise my needs without guilt, realising that even the smallest commitment to change could have a positive impact.
And now, today I stand before you in gratitude, supported and continuously finding efficient ways to prioritise my wellness. Looking back, I see the woman I was - struggling, real, raw, and it's hard. But I also see hope. I want you to know that even the smallest change can lead to something better. I'm here to share what I've learned, tried, and tested, hoping it can support you when you feel stuck, alone, and lost.
Thank you for being a part of my journey. My intention is to be there for you, to offer a hand as you navigate through your challenges, just as I navigated mine. Together, we can strive for a life of balance, wellness, and joy.
